Call for Papers

This year the Call for Papers includes both Research Papers and Professional Practice Papers. The intention is to bring together transport researchers, policymakers, advisors and practitioners from a range of disciplines to share and build upon the latest research and thinking.

There will be no call for abstracts this year. Instead, full papers should be submitted through EasyChair by 30 June 2017* for Research Papers and 31 July 2017 for Professional Practice Papers.  Papers submitted after these dates may be deemed ineligible for presentation at the conference.

Authors MUST indicate the type of paper they wish to submit to ATRF 2017 when they begin their submission. The type of paper you select will determine the nature of the review process. If you select ‘Research Paper’ your paper will be subjected to a scientific review process consistent with academic research. If you select ‘Professional Practice Paper’ your paper will be reviewed from the perspective of its contribution to professional practice rather than its scientific contribution. The ‘Research Paper’ stream is designed for academics and researchers while the ‘Professional Practice Paper’ stream is primarily for practitioners. You can submit your papers to only one of the following tracks and you must nominate a track to begin the process of submitting a paper.
